How do I install it?
The Emotoworks radar detector has a plug in play easy to install setup.
Step 1: Remove bikes ignition plate and disconnect the bikes ignition.
Step 2: Plug the two male connectors to the bike's USB ports old female connectors. Then plug the radars female connecter to the USB port. To ensure port still works.
Step 3: Peel included adhesive strip, stick one side on radar and one the inside on the bikes front number plate.
Will my USB port still work?
Yes, the Emoto Radar Detector comes with four ports, insuring port still works.
How does it detect cops?
Radar detectors detect radio waves from police radar guns. They alert drivers when a radar signal is nearby. This gives drivers time to check their speed. Some models can also detect laser signals. However, they cannot detect every type of speed enforcement. Their effectiveness depends on the situation.
